What are the advantages of cast embossed film?

Cast vs. Blown

  • More consistent film thickness
  • Better optical properties
  • Contrasting directional properties
  • Better stability

Embossed

  • Alters surface properties of film to meet your specific needs
  • Gloss levels can be varied
  • Pleasing to the touch (breathes well / has soft hand)
  • Drapes well
  • Reduced bulk density for a given thickness
  • Provides excellent anchorage to solvents
  • Superior release properties for many substrates
