Bloomer Plastics, Inc., Adhesive Film Comparison
Bloomer Bond adhesive films are dry to the touch at room temperature, but when heated become tacky and will bond to various fabrics, fibers, and polymer substrates. Bloomer Bond films work like a glue stick. At room temperature, the glue stick is not tacky, but once it gets heated the molten material becomes an aggressive adhesive. As a film, Bloomer Bond is available in many colors, patterns, and resins to give bond levels to suit your needs. Functional examples for our Bond films are: adhering a layer of urethane foam to a cloth coverstock, or for inline laminations to adhere dissimilar materials together.
Advantages of Bloomer Bond films are:
- Eliminating the use of spray or wet adhesives that require drying, ovens, or solvents, thus streamlining and increasing productivity.
- Custom engineered to fit your specific application.
- Designed with any of our various emboss patterns.
- Available in any color shade, tint, or opacity - customize your appearance.
- Manufactured in a wide range of thicknesses and widths (up to 80 inches wide) to meet your specific needs.
- Purchasable in quantities from 500 pounds to multiple truck loads.
- Film recipes can be tailored to dial in your specific adhesive requirements.
