Nylon Films

Bloomer Plastics has introduced many new capabilities from our custom engineered film process. One of these include heat stable cast nylon films which are temperature resistant to heats approaching 210°C/ 410°F. Their embossed surfaces are unique to the industry and contribute to their easy release properties.

Converters and laminators come to Bloomer Plastics for both their cast polypropylene and nylon films.

Cast nylon has excellent:

• Gas barrier and aroma barrier
• Grease/oil resistance
• Dimensional stability
• Abrasion and flex crack resistance

These physical properties make cast nylon film ideal for:

• Vacuum packaging
• Thermoforming
• Food packaging
• Medical and healthcare applications
• Industrial applications
• Pouches or bags

Bloomer Plastics now offers our packaging films with our biodegradable blend. They maintain the strength and clarity of our traditional packaging films while meeting standard polyolefin specifications and shelf lives.
